It’s my first crafty by numbers and I enjoyed very much this activity but I am a bit disappointed by the colors. Some of them are on point or very close ( the blues of the wave ) and others are totally off. Too much green, ( no green in the original painting it’s more a light blue ) the foam should be white and it’s a very dark cream and the boats contains so much different colors, which is again totally different from the original…
And the wave contains much more black to distinguish all the forms
Some of the numbers are so tiny it’s hard to see if it’s a 13 18 etc…
Too bad because the activity is very nice and it could have been really much better with less but more on point colors.
It’s been 2 weeks and it still absent arrived. This is an anniversary present. The hell

Tips: Faster delivery for beginning sooner. I won’t be sending a picture for a while because I just got it and haven’t begun to paint yet.
Loved the easiest paint by number and it’s already on the canvas. So nice to work with. Takes longer for delivery coming from other countries which is taking longer to get it done.

I have painted lots of paint by numbers kits and this one happens to be one of my favorites. They provided a reference guide (extremely helpful), enough gray paint pots to complete the background and the colors were true to the image. Not to mention, the image is stunning. Great company, great kit and beautiful outcome.

Tips: I used a magnifying glass as I have poor eye sight.
When I saw the VW van and scooter I knew my son would love it for his house so I ordered a week later I had it. I spent around 1 hour each night for around 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The colours are slightly different but the overall painting is beautiful. I gave it my son and he loves it.

Although this was my first painting by numbers, I really did enjoy it. I have visited Hallstatt before and saw it again through my painting. Maybe I would not advise a beginner to get this because it has tiny details which require lots of attention but I saw it through :) and it was an amazing experience.

I fell in love with the painting when I saw it online and was a little skeptical about whether or not it would look as nice in reality.
The process was soothing and meditative.. often one of my favourite parts of the day! It was easy to do and the end result is incredible. I can’t wait to prep and hang it! Will definitely be doing more of these :)

Tips: Go thick with the paint from the start so that you don't have to do quite as many coats and invest in some cheap thin brushes to help for the really intricate areas as the brushes fray quite quickly.
This is a great hobby to do though it does take a very, very long time to complete as you need to do at least 2 coats of the colours for it not to be patchy (at least 3 coats for the dark colours). It's a great quality set but it is pricey for what you get. I wish I'd have bought a canvas that was already attached to the frame, too, as it was difficult to do myself and it definitely doesn't look as good as it could.

It took about 2 weeks to finish it! It actually looks really good and looks quite accurate to the picture. The only thing I’d like to point out is that most of no. 7 doesn’t have its number on the spot so I had to refer to the picture to add it in. Definitely should blend a bit more but paint within the lines still looked really good ☺️ I hope to purchase another of the same quality to paint!

Even with a magnifying glass I can't read all the numbers. Frustrating. I love the emerging picture.
