What's included in my paint by numbers kit?

Each kit comes with: A high-quality pre-printed linen canvas with numbered sections, Acrylic paint set with pre-mixed, numbered colors (24, 36, or 48 colors), Three premium paintbrushes (thin, medium, and wide), An easy-to-follow guide for a seamless painting experience.

Do I need to mix the paints?

No, our paints are pre-mixed and ready to use! Each pot is labeled with the corresponding number for easy application.

How do I choose the right number of colors for my custom kit?

24 Colors: Great for simple images with fewer details. 36 Colors: Ideal for medium-detail images with subtle color variations. 48 Colors: Best for high-detail images with vibrant depth and shading.

What's the difference between the No Frame and Framed options?

No Frame: The canvas comes rolled in a protective box. Framed: The canvas is pre-stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.

Can I use my own paint instead of the provided ones?

Yes! While our paints are custom-matched for the best results, you can experiment with your own acrylic paints if desired.

What size options are available?

We offer a variety of sizes, but the most common are: 12x16 in (30x40cm), 16x20 in (40x50cm), 20x24 in (50x60cm). Choosing a larger size enhances the level of detail in your painting.

Are the paints safe and non-toxic?

Yes! Our paints are water-based, non-toxic, and safe for all ages. They are also cruelty-free and odorless.

What if I run out of paint?

Each kit includes enough paint to complete the artwork. If you ever need extra, contact us, and we'll send replacements for free!

How long does the paint take to dry?

Acrylic paints dry quickly, usually within 2-5 minutes. You can speed up drying time with a hairdryer on a low setting.

Why can I still see the numbers after painting?

If numbers are still visible after the first coat, apply a second layer of paint for full coverage. For light colors, you can also use a white base coat before painting.

Can I see a preview of my custom painting before it's made?

We do not provide previews by default, but our team ensures your image is perfectly optimized for painting. If you have specific requests, you can email us at sales@craftybynumbers.com before placing your order.

What type of images work best for custom kits?

For the best results, choose a high-quality image with good lighting and sharp details. Close-up portraits work better than distant shots. Avoid blurry, dark, or low-resolution photos. Check our Photo Guidelines for more details.

How do I upload my image?

Simply click Upload Image on the product page before adding the kit to your cart. Ensure the file is clear and well-lit for the best painting results.

Do you offer any edits to my uploaded image?

Yes! Our designers will adjust brightness, contrast, and clarity to ensure your painting turns out great. However, we do not make major alterations like removing people or changing backgrounds.

Can I request specific colors in my custom painting?

Our color-matching system automatically selects the best shades to recreate your photo. If you have a specific request, email us at sales@craftybynumbers.com after placing your order.

What happens if my uploaded image is too low-quality?

If your image does not meet our quality standards, we will contact you via email to request a higher-quality version before processing your order.

Can I choose the number of colors in my kit?

Yes! We offer three options: 24 colors (Standard) - Ideal for simple images, 36 colors (High Detail) - Better shading and color accuracy, 48 colors (Premium) - The most realistic and vibrant results.

Can I request a different canvas size?

We offer multiple sizes to fit your needs. If you need a custom size, please contact us before ordering to check availability.

Will my custom painting look exactly like my photo?

Our kits are designed to replicate your image with artistic accuracy, but the final result depends on how it's painted. The more colors you choose, the closer it will resemble the original photo.

Can I order multiple custom paintings with different images?

Yes! You can upload different images for each custom kit you add to your cart. Just make sure each photo meets our quality recommendations.
