The landscape is fantastic, it is indeed a pleasure to paint it. Although the colors are not correct in some places according to numbers. e.g. boat, seagulls and clouds. Some numbers in small parts are even missing. Some small numbers/colors are not necessary at all. The biggest challenge is a boat. Many numbers are labeled with incorrect (or weird?) color and when you paint it's like a mess. A colorful mess. It doesn't look good. I had to re-paint the boat many times using the website picture as an example and improvising with colors so that it reflects the shades correctly. The seagulls are also a problem. I had to repaint them completely with different colors. Also I don't really like the sky colours, it is much darker than on the website picture, it should look like azure, but in fact it is darkish blue. Small brush kinda broke, the "fur" started to go inside when you press. Also there was a small dint on the canvas, apparently done while delivery (not your fault but it made me sad a bit). The white and other light colors can't hide the numbers, I had to paint more than 10 times to make numbers invisible.
A bit overpriced tbh. I have already bought 2 new canvases from a different provider with a huge discount. Twice cheaper then on Crafty but the quality is the same (stretched canvases, paints, brushes, etc - all the same). I also didn't appreciate that you put your CraftyNumbers logo on the side of the canvas, my new canvases do not have any logos and that's a big plus. I tried to use your promo "Buy 3 for 2" but the code didn't work at the checkout although I chose only promo pictures.
Overal I recommend this picture, it's a great experience, but I think it's not the easiest one and definitely needs an extra time, effort and creativity to have all the elements look realistically and true to colors.
I recently decided to try this painting. The colours are bright, the brushes are decent & included in the picture price, and the painting has turned out gorgeously, so would recommend this experience to others. I have deducted a star for the customer service experience I had with a faulty product, the small wooden easel. It was not fit for use as the wood protrudes and pokes through the stretchy art canvas. It also broke immediately. I have reached out to customer service and its been several weeks with no progress, so I doubt I will get that refund. I just think a company should stand behind the quality of its products that it sells and so for this reason I must deduct a star from my overall experience.
